Blue Blanket Columbus began with a simple belief: families should not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

What started as a desire to help children and families grew from something much more personal-a firsthand understanding of what it feels like to want the very best for a loved one while trying to find the right support, the right people, and a place where they are truly understood.

We created Blue Blanket to help bridge that gap. We bring together professional experience with genuine compassion and an understanding that every child and young adult is more than a diagnosis, a behavior, or a difficult moment. We see their strengths, their personality, their possibilities-and the family standing beside them.

Our mission is to support children, young people, and families by creating opportunities for growth, stability, confidence, connection, and belonging. Whether we are helping a child build life skills, supporting a family through a challenging season, connecting them to resources, or simply providing a safe place to be themselves, we want families to know they have somewhere to turn.

Our purpose is bigger than providing services. We want children and young people to feel safe, accepted, confident, and prepared to face the world. We want to strengthen the whole family while building on the abilities and potential already within every child.
